Where your Money Goes

Given the volume of partnerships and volunteer efforts, Right To Play prides itself in having a low ratio of administrative costs to program expense. It is one of the few Charitable organizations around that can say that over 85% of what you donate will go directly to the program and helping children around the world. Every $50 (net) Right To Play receives helps support another child into the program for a full year. $5 is all it takes for sport equipment for one child to participate in Right To Play sport and play activities. Unique to the Surrey project is an arrangement whereby 20% of all fundraising in the community will remain in Surrey for to support children needing support programs in inner City schools.

 Your gift will help:

  • Educate and mobilize communities around national health and disease prevention priorities, including HIV prevention and AIDS education, malaria and immunization.
  • Build stronger communities by empowering and training local youth as Coaches and role models. This creates the transfer of job and leadership skills to local individuals, and helps to set up community networks, councils and infrastructure.
  • Create more peaceful communities through the normalization and social re-integration of former child soldiers and refugees, and also through peace-building efforts in areas of conflict.

  • Develop healthier, happier children through physical, social and emotional development. We can introduce joy and fun into their lives while teaching them key life skills and values.
